Katherine Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 Once again a bevy of beautiful babes in boats enjoyed a lovely paddle.9 of us launched for Lanes Cove @ 10:45 and meandered down the coast. Along the way we met a very kind gentlemen who coaxed us into the rocks and some of us were introduced to rock gardening.With Natalie as lunch spot guide we made our way over to a beach ~ Back Beach? Were we enjoyed lunch and went swimming.We returned with 7 at about 3:00. Was I supposed to come back with the same number I left with??We had a great time and are tossing around ideas for our next paddle 08/19.Special thanks to Sue for being sweep and for the cookies, Karen for leading and expertly navigating, Natalie for her local knowledge and the gentlemen for gently encouraging rock play. I have to say I was coaxed into rock play by you, thanks to you and the rest of the amazons for that support! We were debating mileage, and according to my chart we did 3.5 miles each way, for a 7 mile total. I look forward to seeing everyone again next month or sooner!
