bethany
A friend asked me to help her try on wetsuits one evening next week. She may just be checking sizes so she can watch classified ads, etc. and not actually purchasing yet. We're both in the city area and she's working near Framingham, I think. Where do you think I should take her for a big selection not too far of a drive? Wilderness House?--b
eneumeier
The REI in Framingham near Shoppers World should have wetsuits.Liz N.
donperry
I just picked up a brand new Warmers Farmer Jane (size 7-8) at the REI yard sale this weekend. The flipper on the zipper is missing but otherwise it's fine. I'll be selling if it turns out to be too small for my daughter.
djlewis
I think REI carries only Warmer's wet suits. Wilderness House might have more than one brand. As for Warmers, I don't know about their wet suits. But the boots I bought from them -- my first pair -- disintegrated in about one season. Since then, I've stayed away from the entire brand.--David.
Brian Nystrom
If you have any LL Bean outlets near you, be sure to check them out. My local one (Nashua) has quite few wetsuits.Another possibility is the surf shops on the coast. They'll probably have a wider variety of suitable wetsuits than most other types of outlets. Kevin B (RPS Coach)
>I think REI carries only Warmer's wet suits. If you don't want to drive far, then REI may be the best choice, particularly given their extremely flexible return policy. Your friend could actually try it in the water and still be able to return it if it doesn't suit her.Kevin
Joan_H
Agree with David about the Warmer's. My gloves were in shreds after one year and I'm not an extreme paddler.
