Yet again, Kayak Waveology is presenting it's Gales event. In the past, this has been held in November buuuut...since none of those weekend's work for current it's being held October 28, 29th and 30th in the waters surrounding Stonington Borough CT.

Sugar Reef, Catumb Rock, Wiccopesset Passage, Fishers Race, Napatree Point and the waters surrounding ABOUND with bumpy, moving water venues and opportunities to refine your surf, rescues and incident management skills. If you've never seen someone CONTROL a ride - come, see what they're doing and how they're doing it. See and learn how to surf long bots - bongo riding is great and all, but it isn't exactly the height of control or elegance. Practice rescues in water that you might not have thought you would. The event has something for everyone; we're never too old or so skilled as to not to learn, be amazed or inspired! Odds are, you WILL see at least one thing over the course of the weekend you didn't think was PROBABLE and be inspired...and that's the goal of a teacher.

Closing in on the last weekend in October and the Autumn Gales event!

Coaches Harry Whelan and Phil Clegg are joining Greg and the usual suspects down in the waters off of Stonington for a long weekend of bumpy water paddling! Come and understand fully what that high brace is for and when you use it....you know...when the water is up by your ear...or is it your ear down by the water? In any event, the whole point is expanding your skills and comfort and these folks can help.

Testimonials from past participants include "yeehaw", "wheeeee" and "yeeeeaaaaahhhhh"

Spaces are filling up, don't miss it! Check out Greg's site for details!
