tyson
Solstice paddle turned out great after driving through some heavy rain and thunderstorms to get there. We had a great time and some pictures are posted here on PicassaWeb. Cheers! Ty

PeterB
Thanks to all who disregarded early morning thunder and pouring rain, and arrived for what turned out to be a fine day for all. The L2 and L2+ groups totaled about 12, so we beach briefed and launched together , and around Dolliber Cove split back into two groups, the L2 staying around Dolliber cove and Marblehead Neck, , and the L2+ paddling to Salem Willows and back. On the way back , L2+ regrouped with L2 beneath Marblehead light, and paddled back to the beach together. Thanks to the initiators, Galen (L2), Rob (L2+) and Jason (L3) . Fine day! I think they are nesting somewhere on the island and hope they do not get disturbed. The male was very curious. Liz
