I just saw in the Newburyport Daily News a notice from the Salisbury Harbormaster that he will be holding a shoot-off for expired flares at 10 AM on Saturday, Dec 4th. It will be held at the Town Pier on Rings Island.

this would be a good time to get rid of any old flares you have, as well as a chance to try firing them.
