Canoe & Kayak magazine is running it’s first ever “Reader’s Choice Awards.†Please go to our site and help us recognize the best in paddling for 2010: http://canoekayak.com/2010-readers-choice-awards/ The Canoe & Kayak editors had countless debates and discussions about which personalities, products and expeditions should be nominated. In the end, we stepped into the controversy in true CK style to bring you this awesome list of nominees. Voting lasts until Sep 3. Please blast the word out to your friends to get their opinion counted for this year’s best of the best. We have definitely spurred folks on to root for their favorite outfitter. You can see that in the comments section. Winners will be announced in the 2011 Buyer’s Guide issue that hits newsstands Nov 10. The 2010 Buyer’s Guide was the longest issue ever at 224 pages. For 2011, we are upping the ante by printing our magazine in a larger format and investing in better quality paper. At the new size, you won’t have any trouble finding CK on the newsstands from now on. We welcome your comments and questions. We apologize in advance as we knew we couldn’t highlight every new great product, retail outlet or paddler who hit the scene last year. It isn’t a complete list, it’s our list.
