Special note of accomplishment.

A special note of accomplishment should be recognized that club member Jon Kilroy, after paddling over 500 miles of big seas in the Western Coast of Vancouver Island, boarded a plane last Friday night landing in Boston Saturday morning after thunderstorm delays. With only a couple hours of sleep and barely making it to the start of the race, Jon finished 3d in the Sea Kayak division of The Blackburn Challenge.

Way to go Jon. They say nobody ever remembers who came in second. This club will remember who came in third.

Jon, I enjoyed your web site, Reenter and Roll-Ocean Kayaking, and following your trip on the west coast. Congrats on that and your 3rd place finish in the Blackburn, I'm tired just reading about it all.Glad your back safe and looking forward to you next adventure!!
