Phil Allen
I just realized that the wilderness first aid (WFA) certification that many of us did two years back will expire in May. Is there a quorum of folks who are interested in taking such a class, either for renewal or for the first time? If there's a enough people I'll see if I can organize things with the SOLO folks. They did a fine job last time. Phil

This was the second for me, prior to that I took an American Red Cross class. Have to say, I feel better prepared now than I did after the first one and much better prepared than after the basic ARC class. The two days consisted of time inside in the "classroom" and time outside in the yard practicing scenarios. Really worthwhile time spent for anyone who participates in activities that are away from immediate access to medical care. Suz
Phil Allen
Hi Suz- I'll second your comment re: Todd Wright and the SOLO WFA-H20 or whatever they call it. I've been trained in emergency first aid since I was a teen (good old boy scouts) and Todd's class crammed a huge amount of useful theory and practice into a weekend. I'm trying to see if there's room in the class JS mentioned. Phil
