I met up with Jake at Sweetwater Symposium and think I may have convinced him to take a wee little detour when he makes it to the Hudson River. I think that he can't come all this way up the east coast and then neglect to paddle the best part of the coast - from NY to Maine. If he heads up this way, he would be happy to stop in and do a presentation. He would also be very happy for a meal and a couch if one was available along his route. So, if you know of people willing to put him up for a night or two along his way, give a shout to him on his website as he nears.

I would gladly host him here in Maine (Portland area) when he comes around. I've been reading his blog. I like his approach to this trip.
