tyson Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 Since I had previously reported a painful experience in attempting to establish first contact with the Walden Qajaq Society, I thought it only fair to provide an update. Though first contact though the web went very poorly, we were able to recover and finally meet the group in person. Emilie and I have been to the pond with them several times and I can say that they are not merely pleasant, genuinely very friendly people who truly enjoy helping others. I'm not sure how we got it so wrong on first contact, but since then its been all good. Hmmm... we really need an emoticon for kayak rolling. Cheers!
