ayong
Do any of you have opinions about the best line to take from Emerson Point to Eastern Point? "inside" or "outside", any experience that you are willing to share? This Saturday, it'll be an ebbing tide (starting time is just after high, we should be on that leg a couple of hours before low...) thanks Tom H
lhunt
Best route so far, taken at pretty much the "right" time relative to the tide.
tyson
This Saturday, it'll be an ebbing tide I have a different strategy. We're going to run that leg a couple of hours after you do. We won't have as much ebbing current to paddle against and so may ultimately be able to over take you. Cheers! Ty
ayong
thanks for the info. what a forecast--it should be a merry ride...they might delay the start until noon, but that would have the gaggle snaking up the annisquam at low tide... good luck to all! tom
tyson
they might delay the start until noon Where does this information come from? Is there any chance that they would publish a later skipper's meeting? I ask these questions because I have to hit the road by about 4:30AM for the current schedule. It sure would be super sweet if I didn't have to get up quite so early. ...esp compared to getting up that early to sit around and wait. Thanks!
