Pintail Posted April 24, 2009 Share Posted April 24, 2009 I know there was talk (here) last year about Simon Osborne's attempt to paddle around the island of Madagascar; but he broke off the attempt (Suzanne will tell us more about this -- I forget why he stopped). Meanwhile the South African Riaan Manser is roughly five-eighths of the way around and looks to finish at about the end of June. I would count on his success -- he has already <bicycled> the entire way around the continent of Africa! This is a man of determination (in true South African tradition, of course!)
