It seems to be a nice setup in that it's IPX6 or IPX7 (I would still toss the recorder 1/2 in a small dry bag as recommended.). And the camera can attach to a helmet or a deck mount. With the new firmware this can record 5 1/2 hours of DVD quality video on a 8GB SD card.
