kevinfre
I just wanted to say thanks to whoever it was that suggested, on Saturday, that I use dishwashing soap to unstick the two pieces of my paddle. It worked like a charm, and this was after WD40 and any number of other home remedies failed. Thanks again! Kevin Fredette
bob budd
I bet you loosened it with the WD40, but seriously, WD40 and similar penetration "unstickers" are not really meant for lubrication. Silicon-based lubricants are the best for salt environments and might be a good idea to prevent future problems. Also, you could wash the open paddle (with fresh water) after a paddle to prevent salt (and sand) buildup.
