Guest guest
The outer material on the knee portion of my wet suit seems to be coming undone exposing the knee pad inside... Any suggestions as to how to repair this??? Thanks!!! ____________________________________________________________________ [font color=green]Excellent, thank you for the tips! :-D ~bren
ccarlson
Brenda,Not sure I can exactly visualize the problem but I've used Aquaseal for pretty much all neoprene-related repairs. All repairs have held up well so far.
Brian Nystrom
Carl's idea is a good one. You can resew the pad by hand. It's probably done with a blind stitch (the stitching doesn't go through the inner layer), but you can do this by hand following the original stitch pattern. Guest guest
BrendaNRS sells a product called Iron Mend to make small repairs to wetsuits, booties and sprayskirts. I used it to fix a hole in my sprayskirt with excellent results. It just irons on. I added a small amount of aquaseal around the edge after applying it, but that was probably unecessary. www.nrsweb.com Product # 2286
