eneumeier Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 A while back NSPN sponsored a showing of an early cut of the documentary "Row Hard No Excuses" featuring local paddler Tom Mailhot. The final version will be shown on June 6, 7:30 PM at the Essex Shipbuilding Museum's Waterline Center, 66 Main St. in Essex. Admission is $10 for members, $15 for non-members. Call 978-768-7541 or go to www.essexshipbuildingmuseum.org for advance tickets. From the Gloucester Daily Times blurb: "The public is invited to see this personal documentary in which two middle-aged men set out to win "the world's toughest race," a 3,000-mile race across the Atlantic Ocean in a rowboat. This exciting sports-adventure story explores masculinity, midlife and ambition." Liz Quote

As someone who saw the early cut as well, I can definitely say that the final version is worth the price of admission. If you haven't seen it yet, do try to get there. Quote
