wernermaas
Last week I participated in a 5* training in Bodega Bay and San Francisco. Given the fact that this was a BCU course, I've decided not to post it on the NSPN website. Instead if you're interested, please see the report on [www.kayakseamonkeys.com]. Enjoy!, Werner

bob budd
I found the report interesting and informative. There are details to every situation that one cannot anticipate and it does well for us to have solutions stored somewhere in the recesses of our minds. eneumeier
I liked the emphasis on judgment, IMHO the most critical sea kayaking skill there is. Liz N.
cmfos
Lovely stuff Werner. As a West Coast transplant who got his first sea kayaking experience in Tomales Bay, it was fun reading about your experiences. Thanks for sharing Jim Fessenden "Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft. Unsurprisingly it sank, proving once again that you can't have your kayak and heat it too." paulariegel
Great report - thanks very much for sharing your experiences and how tough situations where handled. Hopefully that shark didn't follow you to the east coast!
