traction
Launched outta swampscott at high tide yesterday after droping off my truck for some minor repair work at Roods garage across the street from the fish house. Nahant bay was so calm, it was like paddling on a pond! I went over to off rock and then back toward lynn while being followed by a young harbor seal for quite a while, i then landed at the northeast end of kings beach. I had a great lunch from a nearby sandwitch shop then paddled back to see how work on my truck was comming. My truck was still being worked on so i got back in my boat and paddled out to egg rock and back, there were lots of mermaid purses floating on the surface of the water. This was the most mellow paddle i have had in Quite some time. The weather could not have been more calm, temp around 36,total distance paddled 10.2 miles. Here is a link for some pics i took along the way. Don't forget to check out both pages, the second page has the gps track log. http://www.kayakpics.com/gallery/album40
