Weather permitting, I'm going to paddle in Great Bay tommorrow afternoon. Easy, slow pace, 6-9 miles or maybe just a lot of playing around. Launch from Chapman's Landing in Stratham at 1:00 p.m. and take advantage of outgoing tide for first half. Return trip will be against a mild tide as low tide is 17:04.

Chapman's Landing is a state boat ramp located on Rte 108 in Stratham, NH. Plenty of free parking.

I didn't see that you folk had gone out earlier in the day.

By coincidence I went down about 7 pm till about 8:30pm...for a little sunset paddle/ nite paddling.

As I was arriving at Chapmans a couple of people were just finishing loading up a pair of red kayaks ...perhaps they were with your group of people...
