Michael_B Posted July 17, 2005 Share Posted July 17, 2005 Paddle #1 Sunday, July 24th, - Pocasset, level 2, leisurely trip around Bassets Island, possibly along the shore of Buzzards Bay, picnic lunch on the beach. We plan to launch at 10:00 and be back around 3:00. Optional PPPO for those interested. We picked this site largely to make it easier for participants to get off the Cape (seeing as it's Sunday). Please email me for directions to the put in. Paddle #2 Saturday, July 30th - Wellfleet Bay, Billingsgate Island, level 2. Another leisurely paddle with a picnic lunch on the beach. Launch time will be 10:00, return is open ended but surely before 4:00. For those worried about weekend traffic on the Cape please don't be. Traffic is very light early Saturday mornings and Saturday evenings (when the motels change over at noon on Saturdays it's bad). Please email me for directions to the put in.
