Shaila_27
Next weekend I am going camping near Hampton Falls with a few non-kayakers and would love to slip away for a couple of short, mild paddles. I am not familiar with the area - does anyone have any suggestions of places? Thanks in advance. Shaila
Suz
Post your skill level and what you will be paddling and surely you will get many recommendations for what you are looking for. Suz
Shaila_27
I am paddling a Perception Carolina and I am looking for L2, protected waters/conditions. Basically I just want to slip away and play/paddle while the non-paddlers stay at camp.
donperry
You can park & launch in Hampton Falls at the end of Depot Rd next to the abandoned railroad. Or you can park & launch about a mile south of there in Seabrook at the end of Farm Lane. There will be mid-day high tides there next weekend so you should launch well before high tide for the best view of the estuary. Low water might not be so appealing and greenheads could be a real problem.
