alcoons Posted July 2, 2007 Share Posted July 2, 2007 Just got off the phone with Osprey in Westport. Don't know if it is common knowledge, but they had a fire last week and lost 50 boats! They are still open and have some boats (I am going down to try some out). I thought the community should know. Deb Millar Posted July 2, 2007 Share Posted July 2, 2007 Bob and I were down Saturday and brought as much spare gear as we could, plus our one plastic boat, a Sole. The cause of the fire was arson, set in the porta-potty, which resulted in the loss of boats and the whole back of the shop being burned. When I asked Carl and Sam what I/NSPN might do to help, he said let people know that are open and operating.
