maelstromkajak Posted June 22, 2007 Share Posted June 22, 2007 Hi, I'm planning on going to the Fire Island National Seashore area for the first 3 weeks of july. I would like to do some surfing. I'll be with my wife and kid. Where should we go for a good beach experience and be able to go surf right in front of our spot (on the beach)? How's the campgroud at Heckscher State Park? Is it nice?
