Surf Kayaking: fin arrangement question

Howdy all!

I'm looking to fit my play boat with a set of fins for increased fun in the surf. I know there are some people that have experience putting fins into surf boats and i was hoping to maybe get any recommendations that they may have on fin type, box installation, and arrangement.

Also i was originally planning on doing a standard 2-fin arrangement, however recently I've been thinking about a "Twinzer" 4-fin arrangement.

The fins I've been looking into are here: http://www.ofishl.com/fins/fins.htm.

Thanks,

Three fins are most popular, and the ofishl are popular. I would recommend posting over on http://www.kayaksurfers.com Many people over there with first hand experience with adding fins to ww boats. They can give specific instructions for mounting, location, angle etc.

Hi Chris,

I have moved to NH, so I don't usually go to the Chebacco sessions. We have been doing sessions at Great Pond in Kingston, NH last summer, and probably will this summer as well.

Hope to see you on the water.
