Suz
Every year I have been with the club there has been a Summer Solstice paddle that leaves Marblehead and ends with a picnic under the covered tables on the beach. In recent years I have not been able to attend as I have been at some paddle demo or another working. There hasn't been any talk about doing this again this year but I propose that we discuss this. How about the club sponsors the picnic afterwards and individuals post private trips leaving Marblehead? Summer Solstice is June 21 which is mid week. I am busy the week after but as it stands right now I have June 17th open. So, I would lean towards doing this on June 17. As of now, there is nothing on the NSPN calendar for those dates. Bill Gwynn
June 17th is Fathers Day. So we were thinking Sunday June 24th. (Saturday the 23rd is the Peaks Island race.)
Suz
I forgot about Father's Day - it doesn't show up in my Outlook calendar. I probably should put that in:) I'm glad it's being planned and see why the 24th is the date. Unfortunately I will be out of town that weekend and will miss again this year.
