PattyP
The beaches along Gloucester Harbor are closed for swimming due to high bacteria count. This includes the beach at the Greasy Pole.

I was wondering if you could post a link to your source? I was wondering about other beaches around? Do you know if the Essex bay is safe? Thanks -Jason
PattyP
I went for a walk on the boulevard Thursday evening and saw a sign at the Greasy Pole beach. That's my source. I don't know how long it will be closed or what other beaches may be closed. You could probably get more info from the Police Dept or the DPW.Patty
