Scenes from today's storm

These photos were all taken near high water today (between 9 and 11am) in Marblehead. Although the wind and swell were coming from the SE (at right angles to the harbor mouth), waves wrapped in very heavily on the more exposed north side of town.

Front St near Fort Sewall (this house stayed completely dry inside according to the guy who maintains it):

Little Harbor. I spoke to one of the lobster shack owners who said the water had reached to about an inch below his floor:
