Madison Moran Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 (edited) Join the Maine Island Trail Association on March 18th at 7:00 pm to welcome Steve Callahan, whose 76-day drift on the Atlantic in a life raft not only inspired him to write a best selling novel, but also continue to spend a lifetime on the water. Come learn about his "aquatic caveman" experience, as well as other stories of survival, where his experiences have brought him since, and how the coast of Maine factored into all of this. This event will be hosted online and will be recorded for future viewing. Registration is required. You can do so here! Edited March 8, 2021 by Madison Moran Quote
prudenceb Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Btw, the book the guy wrote isn't a novel. It's an account of his experience. I read it a long long time ago and enjoyed it - in the way one does reading about an awful ordeal from the comfort of one's living room sofa. Quote
Joseph Berkovitz Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 It is a good book, I read it too. Quote
