Posted June 17, 20205 yr Yesterday, I got a message that Old Quarry has opened for the season. Good news keeping the hope of a long-term solution alive.
June 18, 20205 yr I've never heard of this place, yet I've never kayaked in Maine either, so I just looked it up. The water in Maine is cold... brr! If I do kayak in Maine though, I'll keep this in mind. Looking at Google Maps, Stonington looks like a real awesome place to kayak and camp.
