I just found this post in cpakayaker ( http://www.cpakayaker.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1010 )

That has a link to Free BookletCharts for the Chesapeake Bay http://www.nauticalcharts.gov/bookletcharts/

Once can hope that they will have charts for our area eventually, but for now we can use these when visiting the Chesapeake Bay.
