    Jonathan, try http://westportisland.us/images/site/body-images/Westport_Map-_Conservation_Properties.pdf I am assuming Muni Boat Launch on the map. According to Maine Coastal Guide, there's another launching point across the river on Wiscasset on Old Ferry Rd which is "supposed" to be milder launch than from Westport Island side, and I have not been to either site.
