  1. By the way, the participant agreement doesn't expire with the calendar year.  If you read it allllll the way to the end, you'll see that it's good for three years.  Easier to sign it each year than to try to remember for three years.  You'll get bugged to re-sign it when you renew your membership.

  2. Good catch, Dan.  The redirect in the link to the waiver went to a page that's now gone.  I've fixed it.

The date on the profile page doesn't update automatically when the waiver is signed.  I thought I might have a way to automate it after the move, but it's not looking good.  That means I'll have to keep doing it manually for each signing for now.  Rats.

  3. Just used my Osprey cleaning kit to clean a reservoir tube.  The brush did a great job to clean the tube, then the springy stem immediately broke into a few pieces.  This was the first time I'd used it.

If you use a Camelbak reservoir with a bite valve that slides onto the tube, they slide off too.  Keep a spare in your kit.

  4. There's also Plan B.2, grab both sides of the skirt and pull.  Works with my Snapdragon (so I allege), probably wouldn't with IR.

Plan C wouldn't work with a spraydeck with suspenders, and I wouldn't use one of those for that reason.

Most important is Joe's point:  if you haven't practiced lately, do.  What worked with your old spraydeck won't work with your new replacement, because it's nice and snug and you forgot how anyway.  Practice on your composite boat with a sharp coaming, not just your plastic boat.  See you at the pool or the pond.
