Long range forecast is looking better for Squam Lake on Friday October 10 so we,re changing from original date.
David Mercer and I are organizing this favorite fall paddle. Meet at the boat launch at Squam Lake Association (534 US 3, Holderness, NH) in time for a 10 am launch. Leave sufficient time before that to get yourself organized - drop off boat, pay the $5 parking fee and then park up at the lot. Yes, it may be a longish drive for some of us, but it's always worth it! There are numerous little islands to circumnavigate and/or stop on, and lovely lunch spots. The water is crystal clear. Hoping for some good foliage, but the ongoing drought may have some effect. We're generally off the water 3-4 pm-ish.
Boats with bulkheads and decklines and you with pfd and sprayskirt. It's starting to get chilly, so dress accordingly. If we haven't paddled with your before, please PM me so we chat!
