It's gonna be a hot one, so let's paddle! I'm proposing launch by 9 am (meaning arrive early enough to get organized to be on the water by then) at Lane's Cove, Gloucester boat launch. I'm limiting to 6-7 people, and already five spots taken (me, Bill D, Fred G, Dana S and Sue H) so room for 1-2 more.
The usual requirements: boats with bulkheads and decklines; you with pfd, sprayskirt and sufficient clothing to be in water in case of capsize. The air will be toasty, the water not so much.
I'm proposing paddle from Lane's to past Halibut Point, then turn around and end up at the little white sand beach by the lighthouse on the Annisquam River…then back to Lane's.
