Wednesday Lunch Paddle from Fort Stark, Little Harbor, NH

The plan is to LAUNCH around 11:00 AM from Fort Stark, head out of Little Harbor, then have some fun. Please arrive at 10:30 or earlier for the 11:00 launch. Bring your lunch, we will stop somewhere to eat it.

This is a joint event with AMC New Hampshire Chapter. All participants should register on the AMC site, https://activities.outdoors.org/s/oc-activity/a5UUN000001GN3J2AW/act00014195.

Sea kayaks with full deck lines and bulkheads, PFD's, spray skirts required. Helmets required if you plan to go near the rocks. Dress for immersion in water temperatures in the low 50's; dry suit or wetsuit required.

The prediction as of Sunday, June 8, is for 8-12 kt west winds, 2 ft waves. 65-70 degree air temperature, partly sunny.

Hello All. I am looking to paddle on Wednesday but this trip to Fort Stark sounds a bit ambitious in the open waters, waves and rocks. Anyone interested in a Wednesday June 11th paddle closer to shorelines? We could use the same meeting location of Fort Stark but paddle up the river and around the islands. Or, a paddle in a location closer to Boston's northshore works so we do not interfere with this AMC/NSPN trip. Linda
