The North Shore Paddlers Network and the Southern Maine Seakayaking Network are pleased to welcome the Maine Island Trail Association (MITA) for a conversation about what's new on the Maine Island Trail. Join MITA's Program Director Brian Marcaurelle and Trustee Dan Carr to explore the newest Trail sites and discuss MITA's latest initiatives, which aim to strengthen relations with Maine's fishing community, increase coastal boat launching and parking options, and improve the Trail experience in Penobscot Bay. Following an introductory presentation, MITA will seek input and suggestions from our knowledgeable group to guide their work.
