markstephens
Do you know of a butt-ugly boat that just might be the World's Ugliest Kayak? Let's see 'em. Contest Rules: Obvious winners from the categories of inflatables, SOTs and whitewater playboats are excluded. Please post a picture or a link to your favorite tribute to boat design tastelessness. Here is my entry: http://i20.ebayimg.com/01/i/04/3d/cb/08_1_b.JPG

tvcrider
Well this one use to be a beaut, but a local thunderstorm yesterday turned it into kindling. The following pics of a hand-built Outer Island made by John Fereira of Ithaca, NY John's comments: "Anyone want to buy a cedar strip Outer Island....Cheap? We just had a big thunderstorm pass through upsate NY today. My next door neighbor called me at work and said a large tree had fallen in my back yard. I went paddling on Saturnday and had left my kayak on my car until late Sunday then moved it onto some slings next to a low cement wall in the backyard. Big mistake:" http://mayfly.mannlib.cornell.edu/stormdamage/IMG_4937.jpg http://mayfly.mannlib.cornell.edu/stormdamage/IMG_4938.jpg
