Posted August 13, 201212 yr While at West Marine chasing a VHF radio today I noticed really well-made Helly Hansen sailing jackets on sale.Breathable rip-stop, adjustable neo cuffs, neck and waist ALMOST qualify as a dry-top. Sort of a super splash jacket, and nicer than the old mildew-stained IR Zephyr I couldn't get clean anymore. What I most liked was the big FRONT pouch-pocket, so bought an XL to fit OVER my PFD as a wind-blocker, or cagoule (without hood, though) on those cool paddle lunch breaks, with plenty of storage for gloves, lunch, radio, etc.Blue or Red for only $65 (orig a fair $100).
