The Appalachian Mountain Club is a non profit organization that promotes the protection, enjoyment and stewardship of the mountains, forests, waters, and trails of the Appalachian region.The event will include the 135th Business Meeting, volunteer recognition, a showcase, and several workshops throughout the day. Workshops will focus on recreation, conservation, advocacy, an AMC historical film fest, edible wild plants and mushrooms of New England, cold weather hiking, and much more! The keynote speaker is Dr. Char Miller, historian, award-winning author, and forest service history expert.
