eneumeier Posted September 5, 2009 Share Posted September 5, 2009 Since Kevin canceled his trip, I will invite people to enjoy this spectacular weather in Gloucester harbor. Launch (BIB) at Greasy pole (Pavillion beach) at 5:00 PM Route: paddle through the inner harbor to check out Bluenose II and other schooners in port for tomorrow's race, then OUTSIDE dogbar breakwater to watch the moon rise at 7:19 PM. Back inside to land at "lighthouse beach" - walk out on the breakwater for a picnic and to catch the nautical twilight. Paddle back in the dark.
