djlewis
A few of us are planning to launch from the Cohasset ramp at 2:00 on Sunday to play in the bump from Bill, the spring ebb from Little Harbor, and the interaction thereof. Judge the conditions for yourself and join us if you like. We will cancel by noon in the event of likely t-storms or significantly heavier swell or wind than forecast (right now 3-4', 10 kts from the W and SW, gusts to 14). http://bit.ly/jqfUk --David. Phil Allen
I'm in, short of a serious decay of expected conditions. Anybody else? Phil
djlewis
I'm in, short of a serious decay of expected conditions. Anybody else? Phil As of now (7:30 PM Saturday) the Sunday 2:00 PM Cohasset area forecast is for 3-5' seas and 10 kt winds, with gusts to... hold onto your hat... 11 kts. Gloucester, on the other hand, is looking more like 7' seas. So Cohasset might be just right, and it's got the fun current to boot. http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/wfo/secto...oxMarineDay.php

kate
Thanks for organizing this, David. It was great to be out on ocean swell in warm weather, with no wind.
