Pintail
Three not-so-intrepid paddlers (KB, BM, CG) took one long look at the uninspiring conditions at Lane's Cove on Sunday and soon nixed the plan of putting-in there for a circumnavigation of Cape Ann: it was a bit wild! They took themselves off to Tuck's Point, after a quick glance at Corliss Landing -- where there was no water. These three, all in stout British boats (of course), spent three or four hours on the windy waters, playing in the rocks and the surf of the local rockeries and they visited some obvious, nearby islands. There was wind; there was rough water; there was lots of fun...(there was even sailboat racing in the background -- but no other kayakers). Three went out; three returned; three had huge fun!
