I was near there on Friday and saw that there is a bridge out just after the visitor center so try another route. my #i s 914-489-2673 for any late comers. It is a cell so call any time. Ross
November 30, 200816 yr Drive in from the western/ Portsmouth side and use the little parking lot by the bridge and you avoid the detour. The park side is shut down for now. The western side could be dicey on a weekday with the construction but free on weekends.
