djlewis Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 The tidal currents, weather and conditions (and automobile traffic!) look good for a crossing from Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven on Sunday, August 31. It'll be an early morning launch and lunch in Vineyard Haven. Figure around 16+ nautical miles total, with 3.5-4 nm open crossing each way and some strong current with/across us.
