Posted September 27, 200717 yr Lorrie's away so I'm looking for some people to paddle with this Saturday. Up for almost anything but a marathon. Surfing good harbour beach, Salem to Manchester, or playing out of Gloucester are all possibilities, so make a suggestion. Phil
September 28, 200717 yr Author Updated forcast is for 15-20 with gusts to 30, so anything exposed is off the list. Those conditions are doable, but alot of work. May do the Anisquam or head to the south shore and explore some tidal rivers. Phil
September 28, 200717 yr Phil, My only option this weekend will be to get out on Good Harbor on Saturday early, like, 7-8 a.m. Leaving by 10. Clearly, this is insane for most kayakers associated with the board, but . . . Clearly, in those predicted conditions, surfing is a lot more appealing (at least to me) than slogging along in an estuary in 30 kt winds (which I've done many times). Maybe I'll see you there . . .
