Leave from put-in at end of Leach St., Salem and follow coast past Pickering wharf, Winter Island, Salem Willows and turn around in the North River by the Salem Commuter Rail stop. Approx. Distance, 9.5 miles. Trip dependant on wind conditions but is usually fairly calm waters.
