Rolling in Maine and other ice cream headaches

In July spent several days in Maine at the Driftwood Inn. The cove is a great place to practice rolls at the end of the day as well as to cool off and rinse. Had ~50% success in the Currituck and had to wet exit due to an unexpected ice cream headache.

Swimming from Pebble Beach to Milk Island was a challenge. You'd think the waves would be a big problem interrupting your breathing. Aside from the odd mouthful of sea water, however, the real impediment was getting your head in the water and setting a rhythm. More surprising, it took a much longer time to acclimate on the way back. Nice to have paddlers nearby to maintain bearings and block from oncoming craft.

I think every town on the coast has a "Driftwood Inn" Where in Maine were you?
