Guest guest
MLK day Bob Baldridge and I made our way through the frozen sand at Pavilion beach, In Ipswich and headed up the river for an easy paddle in cold and crystal clear weather. The wind was light as we set off but the forecast was for the west wind to pick up. We headed to Middle ground and stopped and turned around. The tide was still coming in and we had a longer paddle back but the wind did help a bit and it had picked up to around 15 to 18 knots. As we reach shore a friendly lady greeted us. I thought she was a friend of Bob’s he though she was a friend of mine. She greeted us with hot cider. And introduced herself as a writer for “Messin around with Boats” she helped up load our boats and we sat in the pre-heated truck and answered questions. All in all another great day on the water.
