ccarlson Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 Foliage will be at it's peak around the Squam Lake area on Saturday and the weather forecast is for a sunny, though cool and a bit breezy day. So, a couple of us are planning to paddle there and take in nature's show from the water. In order to be compatible with the capacity of launching and landing areas, the size of the group will be limited. So, if interested, please email me for more info re. time and place of launch. Consider this a level 3 trip for distance and possibility of moderate winds and associated wind chop. Probable overall distance will be around 10-12 miles or as desired by the group. Pace will be relaxed with plenty of time for taking pictures. If you've paddled Squam, you know how beautiful it is.
