jwhipple
The pond's still there, the crowds aren't, I'm guessing you Walden regulars are still pretty regular, at least in September ... in other words, what's the likelihood of finding fellow paddlers on a weekday evening as the days grow shorter, and how far into the fall do you continue to go? Thanks, Judy
rcohn
I'll keep going until they close the boat ramp, usually in November. But with the short days, weekdays will probably be too difficult, so mostly weekends, except Arctic Boat Weekend and Delmarva of course. kate
I'm still going on Wednesdays and Fridays as long as the weather is somewhat warm (50 or above). Last year my last day was in November. That said, I will not be there next Wed or Fri (9/13 and 9/15) because I'll be paddling in Maine. But others will be there, almost certainly, esp. on Friday. kate
tedious
Never having been there, does it cost for parking and/or launching? T.
rcohn
Parking is $5 or a $35 season pass, also good in a number of other state parks. Not sure how often the ranger will be checking cars in the fall. Ralph Cohn Elaho DS, blue & white with yellow trim
